TRIGGADON VS K*NERS

Ok, if you dont know already,it's going down...like your old dear when she needs a couple of pounds...Ehem, sorry, its what this "rap beef"stuff does to me...

Anyway...

There is trouble in paradise people, well known Bristol rappers, K*Ners from Crystal City/MTC (video Hektic on MTV, album coming 2010) and Triggadon from wiseguy/Label MTG (who's video making headlines is on Channel U and his new track is being played on radio 1) have been getting medieval on each other for a couple of weeks now.

Up until now i have been happy to sit on the fence as i know both of the parties involved, however as more and more has arose on the matter, both artists have asked me to address the issue on FUCK YOU TV, and bring you the true version of events.

so here goes....

K*ners has reciently released 'The clothing mixtape' (this was available free from this site) and on the first track of the CD, k*ners spits a verse over an all too familar, Ninth letter production, at the end stating the lyrics he just spat were supposed to be featured on a remix of the track that didnt get released for undisclosed reasons. And also for this (at this point) unnamed MC "Not to put his name in his bars, or he will jump on his own beat and murder him"...

This left many people confused as to why he would start his highly anticipated new mixtape (featuring household names like sway, kano, D Grizzly etc...) in this way, and who this is concerning, so for those of you who dont know...

This is because arround 2 and a half to 3 years ago (possibly longer) Triggadon used the same beat to record the track "who's the best?" (as featured on Who you reppin part 3 - the creme de la creme) In which Triggadon poses the question who is the best? and explains "hes not getting on k*ners but he's less than impressed" and that he thinks he is better than him.

Shortly after K*ners heard of this, the artists made contact and as an outcome of the conversation, they amicably decided amongst themselves to remix the track to show the fans that there was no badmindedness intended (the remix was to feature another of Bristols favourites Buggsy) so in good faith K*ners travelled off of his own back from Bristol to Glastonbury to record his part at Ninth Letters studio.

A few months ago Triggadon has released his immense new mixtape 'King of the castle' (which was is also available now for free on this site) which featured the track "whos the best?" but there was no sign of the remix, and it seems that K*ners has taken offence to this, upon discovering this i asked Trigga why the track was not released, his comments were "the track never got finished - you know what its like working at this rate" admitted it was his fault, but went on to say "if K*ners wanted, he could have dropped it on his CD" and no bad feelings were intended.

However upon hearing K*ners response to the situation on the intro of his mixtape, he was not happy with what K*ners had said and how he had dealt with the situation, as to those in the know it was clear that he was talking to/about him, so went straight to the studio and recoreded the track 'PLZZZ' answering back to the comments made by K*ners...

Within no time at all K*ners had addressed the response and came straight back jumping on the instrumental of Jay-Z's 'Death of autotune' with the track he called 'Death of the apprentice'...

Triggadon then went to Conners (label MTG) studio and put down the track "shoot him" as a direct response to the 'Death of the apprentice'

K*ners hasnt responded to this musically but instead hosted footage on youtube and facebook from when Triggadon was about 18 years old and getting "badded up". Triggadon now 25 said he is unfazed by the footage and was happpy for it to be stay online, but it is no longer on youtube.

Now Triggadons label mate, Mickey Diamonds aka X-Caliber (label MTG) unhappy with the situation at hand has taken it upon himself to use this oppertunity to come at K*ners recording a video with 'Rebel Productions' called 'The end of Lamerz

K*ners has responded to this by taking the mick (excuse the pun) out of Mickey Diamonds aka X-Calibers onslaught over a slim shadys 'My name is' instrumental which he called 'Mickey Donought'.

In the meanwhile within an hour of hearing the response to Mickey Diamonds, Triggadon jumps back in the booth and spits the track 'So disrespectful' featuring Conners, telling Mickey to "fall back and that hes got this"...

However Mickey Diamonds has ignored Triggadons request to fall back and has come back but not with a diss track more of a stone cold grilling, hear it for yourself...

Now there has been some speculation that K*ners is now repping MTC (Move the crowd) as a dig or to somewhat spoof the MTG (Monopolising the game) movement from the Easton area of Bristol, ( you may well have seen the clothing line, which is available from Genesis Music stapleton road) but i can confirm that this is merely a coincidence as it is a record label situated in New zealand that K*ners is affiliated with and K*ners is still pushing Crystal city as hard as ever and is currently working on an album to be released in 2010 for a worldwide release, with some massive collaborations. Triggadon aso informs me that him and Conners are now working on a CD inspired by this situation, and i will bring you more news on them as they materialise.

on a similar note k*ners explained to me that he believes that the track 'Making headlines' by Triggadon which is on rotation on Channel U, was an idea he stole from the first track of his mixtape where he says "Guardian to Rewind, i got my press covered". I asked Triggadon on his thoughts on this, he laughed and said "it had nothing to do with K*ners and that he or his music has not been inspired by anything that K*ners has done" and that "he doesnt even listen to his music"

As it stands K*ners says "all beef is finished now!!Its Yellow Brick Road time" and he will not be responding well, at least until he has finished his 2010 album as he is "busy with bigger things", however Triggadon is adament that he will not stop until K*ners has retired, so can we expect more... probably
